Refund Policy - Posh Gifts
1. General Policy
1.1 At Posh Gifts, all sales are final and payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by South African law.
1.2 This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) of South Africa.
2. Exceptions to No-Refund Policy
2.1 Defective Products: In the event that a product is defective, we will replace the item or offer store credit, subject to the terms outlined in Section 3.
2.2 Incorrect Items: If you receive an item that is materially different from what you ordered, we will replace the item or offer store credit, subject to the terms outlined in Section 4.
3. Defective Products
3.1 If you receive a defective product, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the item.
3.2 To process a claim for a defective product, we require:
a) Photographic evidence of the defect
b) A detailed description of the defect
c) The order number associated with the purchase
3.3 If the claim is approved, we will arrange for the return of the defective item at our expense.
3.4 Once we receive and verify the returned item, we will, at our discretion:
a) Replace the defective item with an identical non-defective item, or
b) Offer store credit for the value of the defective item
4. Incorrect Items
4.1 If you receive an item that is materially different from what you ordered, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item.
4.2 To process a claim for an incorrect item, we require:
a) Photographic evidence of the incorrect item
b) The order number associated with the purchase
4.3 If the claim is approved, we will arrange for the return of the incorrect item at our expense.
4.4 Once we receive and verify the returned item, we will, at our discretion:
a) Send the correct item as originally ordered, or
b) Offer store credit for the value of the incorrect item
5. Non-Refundable Situations
5.1 Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind about a purchase.
5.2 Gifts: As our products are often sent as gifts, we cannot offer refunds to gift recipients. Any issues must be reported by the purchaser within the timeframes specified in sections 3 and 4.
5.3 Perishable Items: Due to the nature of some of our products (e.g., consumables in gift baskets), we cannot offer refunds on perishable items once they have been delivered.
6. Store Credit
6.1 Store credit issued under this policy will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
6.2 Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash.
7. Cancellations
7.1 Due to our quick processing times, we cannot guarantee order cancellations once payment is received.
7.2 If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. If the order has not yet been processed, we may be able to cancel it and issue store credit.
8. Delivery Issues
8.1 Posh Gifts is not responsible for packages lost or damaged during shipping. These issues should be taken up with the delivery service.
8.2 If you do not receive your order within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us for assistance.
9. Fraud Prevention
9.1 To prevent fraudulent claims, we reserve the right to request additional information or documentation to verify any refund or replacement request.
10. Modifications to This Policy
10.1 We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
